June 2004- Dr. Gaynor was invited to speak at the Society of F.I. Proctor Foundation Fellows/UCSF annual meeting in Asilomar, California.

June 2004- Dr. Gaynor began performing NearVision Conductive Keratoplasty, an exciting new treatment for patients dependent on reading glasses. This is the only FDA-approved technology for patients who want to reduce their dependence on reading glasses.

March 2004- Dr. Gaynor was invited to present his research results at the World Health Organization, Geneva, Switzerland.

March 2004- Dr. Gaynor returned to rural Ethiopia as part of a team from UCSF conducting a 3 year study to eliminate trachoma, a blinding eye infection. This work is part of an alliance coordinated by the World Health Organization.

January 2004- Dr. Gaynor was invited to speak at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital Medical Grand Rounds on diseases of the eye.

December 2003- Dr. Gaynor was invited to lecture on "Treating Eye Disease from Santa Rosa to Africa and Asia" at the Friends House in Santa Rosa.
